Murfreesboro Medical Clinic will host its annual Breast Cancer Survivor Retreat on Saturday, October 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Murfreesborough Community Center. The refuge is open to all breast cancer survivors who have ever been diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as survivors of other cancers.

Enjoy a breakout session that covers a wide range of topics, including health and wellness, health care, family and community issues, and personal development. Bring a guest of your choice and enjoy the rolling hills and artisanal production of the steel barrel brewery in the tasting room, the ultimate meeting point. Throughout the weekend there is a wide selection of craft beers, wines, spirits, food and entertainment.

The brewery often hosts events and yoga classes, and has food trucks parked outside the door throughout the weekend. Children can enjoy a menu that includes grilled chicken biscuits, fried shrimp, grilled shrimp and fried chicken biscuits, as well as a variety of other appetizers.
